Singer-Songwriter, Nikia Yung, features her violin to create songs influenced by gypsy, classical and pop-rock genres. After performing with country-rock band, Mason Vixon, for three years, Nikia saw it as an opportunity to begin working on her debut original album. The ten-track record, ‘Taller Than Trees’, features a full band with Nikia performing on keys, violin and vocals. The songs are centered around the common theme of ‘feeling small’ and overcoming those hardships. “This is, without a doubt, a conglomeration of every heartbreak, every ounce of hope, and every sound piece of wisdom I’ve experienced in the last five years of my life. It’s daunting to share that with the world, but it’s time.”

"There are very few unsigned artists who have the ability to capture the attention of an entire room for 45 minutes with with their own original music.
